It’s only yesterday that I talked about the mainstream PC games that are available on Android, yet I can’t miss talking about the other kind of genres of Android port PC games. In the last article we’ve seen the list of 5 mainstream PC games on mobile, today we’ll look at some of the classics. That’s right, some of the classic pc games available on Android to bring back the nostalgia. 

As I have said in the previous post, the mobile gaming industry has established itself as a force to be reckoned with. Years ago it seem quite impossible to play our beloved PC or console game on our smartphone. But with the development that Android is doing right now, our dream slowly comes true. 

While it took a while for game developers to reach where it is today, Android now manages to play a series of great PC games. And now you can bring these classic PC games wherever you go on the move.

Doom I & Doom II

A game that is well known as one of the games that define FPS games, Doom I and II is surely an old-time classic. Doom as a franchise has been around for a long time, with the first game released way back in 1993. The game has recently regained its popularity and relevance with the reboot that came out in 2016 and Doom Eternal in 2020. 

The first great attempt at the first-person shooter genre was actually not started by Doom itself. One of the first successful titles of FPS belongs to a slightly older Wolfenstein 3D. Although Wolfenstein got popular, it was not as innovative as Doom.

With Gameplay on Android barely feeling any different from the PC version, it’s a great getaway from real life. Controls are suited to a smartphone touch screen, with surprisingly show out little to occasional problems. With the ability to use a controller, this problem shouldn’t matter anyway.
